POST-DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN GLOBAL HUMANITIES – CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

The call for application is open for a two-year post-doctoral fellowship connected with the research activities of the Academy of Global Humanities and Critical Theory. 
 
The Academy seeks candidates who have attained their Ph.D. (or equivalent) within the past 5 years (not earlier than 2013)
, for a postdoctoral fellowship in any aspect of the humanities and social sciences (history, political theory, anthropology, literature, visual, media and performing arts, archeology) to be held in the academic years 2018/2019 and 2019/2020. 
 
During the two-year post-doctoral position, the selected scholar is expected to apply to the European Research Council Starting Grants call, one of the Marie Curie programs, or other competitive programs promoted by either the European Union or the United States.
 
S/He will also be required to teach a course or organize a workshop (30 hours max) and partake in the activities of the Academy.
 
The first year will be spent at the University of Bologna. The second will be either at Duke University or at the University of Virginia according to his/her research interests and in agreement with the Director of the Academy.
 
The Academy will provide a workstation, access to services and facilities, and a fellowship contract of 40.000,00 euros (gross) per year.
