The Academy is offering the following grants for the 2018 edition of the Summer School in Global Studies and Critical Theory: 

Up to 10 grants covering fees and accommodation
Up to 5 grants covering fees
Up to 3 grants covering fees, accommodation, and travel costs (max 1000 euros) for Global South participants.
Up to 5 grants covering fees, accommodation, and travel costs for Global South participants (Asia, Africa, Latin America) sponsored by UNIPOL GRUPPO
Up to 5 grants are available for Duke students (sponsored by the FHI, Program in Literature, and Romance Studies). Duke students should indicate on the Summer School application form that they are seeking grant funds – there is no need to apply in advance to the FHI, Literature, or Romance Studies. If you are accepted, the Summer School administrators will direct you to the appropriate Duke sponsor to arrange travel funding
Up to 5 grants are available for University of Virginia graduate students (when selected, please contact the office of the dean).

NOTE: In their statement of purpose, applicants must state if they are applying for grants. If so, they must also specify if their attendance is contingent on receiving grants.
