Global South and Critique of Violence

A critique of violence aims at exploring from various angles the reasons, roots, functions and textures of the use of force, as foundation of juridico-political regimes and as expression of historico-cultural formations. What is the place of violence in discourses and practices of war, terror, emancipation, revolution, hope or utopia? How are these processes re-shaping the contemporary relations between Global South and Global North?
