This workshop will bring together a group of participants to showcase Digital Humanities projects that seek to map the Black Atlantic to offer new visions of space, movement, and history. What opportunities does the digital space offer to reconceptualize geography from different perspectives? How might we use different visual & sonic materials to recast our theoretical and aesthetic engagements with the spaces of the Black Atlantic? Participants will be introduced to projects and tools and invited to conceptualize their own future digital projects. |
