EDITION 2022 – THE CALL FOR APPLICATION IS CLOSED
 
HOW TO APPLY 
 

Applicants must complete and submit the application form and upload the following materials (in English) by MAY 5, MAY 15, 2022 at 3.00 pm (GMT+2):

• A detailed Curriculum Vitae
• A statement of purpose
• One letter of recommendation

Applicants accepted in the program will be notified by May 19, May 25, 2022 via email. They must confirm their participation by May 30, 2022. Registration fees are also due by May 30, 2022. For further information please write to disci.gsct@unibo.it
FEES
 

Selected applicants will be asked to cover:

300 €  Enrollment Fees (including Welcome and Closing cocktails)

Payment of the enrollment fees is available via Bank Transfer to the Department of History and Cultures at University of Bologna

Selected students are required to confirm their registration by paying the fees and emailing their receipt to disci.gsct@unibo.it by May 30, 2022.
EXEMPTIONS AND GRANTS
 

The Academy is offering the following grants for the 2021 edition of the Summer School in Global Studies and Critical Theory: 

• Up to 8 grants covering fees and accommodation and travel costs (up to 1000 euros) for Global South participants (Asia, Africa, Latin America), sponsored by UNIPOL group
• Up to 7 grants covering fees and accommodation (no travel)
• Up to 5 grants covering fees
• Up to 5 travel grants are available for Duke students admitted to the Summer School
• Up to 5 grants are available for graduate students at University of Virginia

NOTE: In their statement of purpose, applicants must state if they are applying for grants. If so, they must also specify if their attendance is contingent on receiving grants.
