What is the word limit for the statement of purpose?
There is not any word limit. The standard is about 1 or 2 pages. Feel free to write few more pages, if you need to.
What do the 300 euros fees cover?
They just cover registration expenses. If you do not get a grant, you are supposed to cover accomodation expenses by yourself. We can certainly suggest you where to sleep.
Does the Summer School issue a certificate upon the completion of the courses?
Yes. Summer School students will receive a certificate of attendance to recognize them their participation in the course.
What do you mean by "a letter of recommendation"?
A letter of recommendation is a letter that makes a statement of support for a candidate. Preferably, the person writing the letter of recommendation has been in an academic or working relationship with the applicant. A letter of recommendation should also present a well-documented evaluation and provide sufficient evidence and information to help a selection committee in making its decision.
I am a Global South country student, but I live elsewhere: can I apply for grants specific for the country I come from?
Yes, you can. However, priority is given to applicants that need to cover travel costs from a Global South country.
