On the 50th anniversary of its publication, the course aims to go through the most significant pages of what has long been considered the text of reference for the students’ movement and for the 1968 generation. This 1964 book will be used as an example of the Frankfurt School’s critical theory of society, of which we will expose both the perspectives and the limits from the of social movements’ point of view.
